Happy fall, everyone!!! This is my favorite season of the year. It’s just so cozy and makes me feel warm inside. Well, that may actually be because of all the coffee I drink in the but same difference, right?!
Another reason I love Fall is because of the makeup. All of the gold, burgundy, and deep browns in the palettes are to die for.
Since it’s already been out for awhile, I’m going to do all 3 of my looks using the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette in the hopes that some of you have it already! If you don’t have this palette, then just use whichever color you have that is closest to the one I’m using.
Pro tip: The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette would be perfect to recreate these looks!
For all of the Fall looks, I’d recommend a full layer of foundation and some contouring. It’s a lot of work to contour, but it creates more depth in the face during the Fall and Winter when our skin starts to get a little lighter. None of us want to look like a ghost!
For blush/highlighter, I’d recommend getting a 2-in-1, like this one, that NYX sells on Amazon. I actually use this makeup stick anytime I wear makeup and it works great. Plus, it’s a flat-out steal, priced at $5.96. Wow!
For your lips, do whatever you feel comfortable with, but darker nudes tend to be popular in the Fall!
Use whichever eyeliner and mascara you want. Everyone tends to have a favorite brand of those, so you do you!
As far as technique is concerned, I do this series in this exact order: eyelid, crease, corner, inner corner and brow bone, blend. I will outline each look by where the color needs to go and which color I’m using.
Pro tip: The secret to beautiful eyeshadow is a blending brush, so if you don’t have one, you should absolutely get one! It turns a mess into a masterpiece!
Pumpkin Spice Latte
I’m going to be using the very best orangey/gold colors this palette has to offer to create a perfect, pumpkin-inspired makeup look, hence the name of the look !
Lid: Use ‘Creamscicle’ first and then layer on top of it with ‘Queen’
Crease: Use ‘Butter’
Corner: Use ‘Mocha’
Inner Corner + Brow Bone: Use ‘Beam’
Don’t forget to blend!!
I chose this name for the look because the colors are very similar to my favorites in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette! These reds and burgundies will take your Fall look to another level!
Lid: Use ‘Buns’
Crease: Use ‘Roxanne’
Corner: Use ‘Jacz’
Inner Corner + Brown Bone: Use ‘Enlight’
Don’t forget to blend!
I don’t wear a whole lot of deep brown eyeshadow, but this palette has fantastic glittered brown shadows!
Lid: Use ‘Hustle’
Crease: Use ‘24/7’
Corner: Use ‘Chip’
Inner Corner + Brow Bone: Use ‘ Enlight’
Don’t forget to blend!
These looks should go with just about any Fall outfit you could put together. Enjoy it and tell me what you think!
