Hey friends! I’m so thankful for the successful launch we had last week and I want to welcome all of our new followers!
Today, I’ll be sharing with you 7 stellar beauty products I bought from CVS. If you’re a little skittish about trusting drug store beauty products, I don’t blame you, but I want you to trust me when I say that these 7 beauty products are the bomb dot com!
Oh my gosh, guys! This stuff smells AMAZING! I bought the tea tree and vetiver body wash, but they also have 5 other scents: coconut & ylang ylang body wash, murumuru butter and rose, argan oil and lavender, coconut water and mimosa flower, and shea butter and sandalwood.
I was impressed by the company’s mission to be kind to the environment and use high-quality, natural ingredients.
My mom is actually the one who introduced me to this one! When I visited her for her birthday last month, she was wearing the Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Nail Color in the shade “Make It Snappy!”
It’s difficult to describe this color exactly, but I would say it’s a pearly pink with lots of shine. I like this color, because it’s so versatile! It’s also nice it isn’t as bland as a regular neutral or nude color.
Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner
Pureology’s shampoo and conditioner (and all their other products, for that matter) are the best I’ve ever encountered in the hair care world, which, let’s be honest, is surprising! I started using them when I was 16, when I decided to strip my hair completely of all it’s natural color and then cover it with vibrant reds and pinks. Needless to say, my hair suffered! BUT…Pureology came to the rescue!!!
Just like every other hair care brand, Pureology has targeted sets of shampoo and conditioner to help you get on top of your hair problems. If you suffer from dry, damaged hair, like mine, or if you have fine hair, I would recommend the “strength cure” set. They also have “hydrate”, “clean volume”, and “reviving red”.
NYX Butter Gloss
Confession: I’ve never owned any NYX products until I finally took the leap and bought two of their butter glosses a few months back. Wow! The colors turned out to be very pigmented and vibrant and, out of them all, the two I’ve fallen in love with are Maple Blondie and Vanilla Cream Pie.
Maple Blondie is a peachy shade that’s perfect if you want your lips to have a natural pink hue to them, while Vanilla Cream Pie is more of a magenta that has a tiny hint of purple to it. I would say the Maple Blondie is my favorite of the two, but it’s a tough choice.
I’d also like to give you a tip for when you’re applying this product: LESS IS MORE. This gloss is pretty thick, hence the term ‘butter’. You don’t need very much at all to get your desired look.
How many of you have heard of the Wet Brush? Probably a lot of you, but if you haven’t, I’m here to introduce you to possibly one of the best beauty inventions of all time!
The Wet Brush is designed to protect your hair during the brushing process. Instead of ripping your hair out when it reaches a tangle (like a regular brush), the bristles on a Wet Brush are flexible and are able to eliminate tangles without destroying your hair. So, if you have fine or damaged hair, this product could save you a lot of worry and damage!
There are two versions of the Wet Brush: Wet Brush and Wet Brush Pro. I, personally, would recommend the Wet Brush Pro because it’s made for hair care professionals! It comes in metallic colors, has nicer packaging, a rubberized handle, and bristles made to make detangling as easy as 1-2-3.
Pro-tip: If you have kids who tend to verge on the dramatic when it’s time to brush their hair, try using a Wet Brush Pro. It may not solve all of your problems, but it could help!
Fall and Winter are quickly approaching and, if you’re like me, you might struggle dry and chapped lips. I absolutely HATE getting chapped lips and, therefore, keep lip balm with me at all times as soon as it starts getting cold.
There are so many lip balm brands out there (if you haven’t already noticed), but this brand is my favorite! I like how it tingles on my lips. Also, it’s made of natural ingredients. It’s a win-win!
I may or may not have a slight addiction to Pureology hair products…
Seriously, this product may be my favorite of ALL the pureology products! The title of the product is a little confusing, but, basically, it’s a 21-in-1 spray!
The 21 benefits focus on priming, protecting, and perfecting your hair.
Pretty awesome, huh?
Beauty for All!
Going into drug stores and trying to trust the quality of products they have is rough, but I think you’ll be very satisfied with these 7 products. They’ve been game-changers for me.
Stock up and let me know what you think!! (:
