Thanksgiving Day Craft: How to Hide your Turkey
What you’ll need:
- -markers or paint (red)
- -construction paper (preferably white)
- -a pen
- -tissue paper (yellow or orange)
- -a turkey cutout or printout linked below
- -your imagination!
For ours today, we will hide our turkey in some popcorn so it’s a sure guarantee he won’t be found! Because who goes to the movies on thanksgiving?!
Step 1: Lay out your turkey, well call ours Tom and size out how big of a piece of construction paper popcorn bucket you’ll need!
Step 2: Cut the construction paper in the shape of an upside semi circle
Step 3: Paint or color (depending on which supplies you chose) the lines of a popcorn bucket onto your upside semi circle before gluing it on top of your turkey
Step 4: Glue on top of your turkey (see picture). Now you’re ready to add the popcorn!
Step 5: Rip and crinkle tissue paper and glue to cover the top of the turkey like popcorn!
Step 6: Color in parts of the turkey still showing and hide him (or hang him up where all can see)
Post your pictures in the comments so we can see what’s popping this Thanksgiving!
