All I Did Was Breathe

Today was a hard one. I awoke to the sound of my child screaming for me. Already exhausted from the day before, I crawl out of bed and dress my body. I have fifty things on my mind and none of them are myself. I don’t have that time. I don’t have any time. I need food on the shelf. As we launch into the Season of Giving, we experience more and more pressure to spend money on things people don’t really want or need.
